Hi, I'mRanbir Gill

If it comes to mind, I'll try to build it.

I'm a senior at Skyline High School doing the IB Diploma. I build games, hardware, websites, a sticker brand, and whatever else seems cool enough not to put down halfway. When I'm not building, I'm probably skiing, playing soccer, or swinging around a city as Spider-Man.

Assembly instructions

I've put together every piece of furniture in my house, so here's my own manual. Flip through: first the parts, then the steps that built me into someone who builds.

Parts

Step 1 · Kindergarten
1

Build a Seahawks stadium out of 1 cm wooden cubes

The first thing I remember making. In my memory it's enormous and incredibly detailed. In real life it probably wasn't, but it was the first time I made something I'd decided I wanted to make.

Gold 3D-printed parts left over from my freshman-year webshooter
What's left of the first one

Strap a webshooter to your wrist

My first Spider-Man webshooter: sketched, modeled, 3D printed, and held on with a card and some hope. It worked. I've been rebuilding it ever since.

Rebuild later. Much better.

Blocked

Make a game good enough to get blocked

Snowball PvP: a multiplayer snowball fight in the browser, entered in Vibe Jam 2025. My friends and I played it at school until the school's filter caught it and put it on the block list next to the big game sites. Best review I've ever had.

May get blocked by your school's network

Take something from zero to one

Slopestix: skiing stickers, and the project I'm proudest of. I took it from nothing to something real almost entirely on my own: the designs, the testing, the ordering, the website, all of it. Peter Thiel calls it going from zero to one. Now I'm working on one to n.

Do cool things, then tell people about it

Like swingfight: a web-swinging game I built in three days, and by the end I was swinging around a city with my friends online. And this website, so there's somewhere to tell people about all of it.

Final step

Repeat from step 2. Forever.

Assembly is never quite finished. There's always another thing that comes to mind.

    The builder

I don't have a big system for choosing what to build. If it passes four quick checks, I'm building it. Honestly, I don't even think about it.

    1. Is it cool?If it is, I want to build it. That's most of the decision.
    2. Will I see it through?I don't start things I know I'll put down halfway.
    3. Would it be fun to share? The best part is showing it to people.
    4. Do I have the time?If I do, it's happening.

    swingfight

A web-swinging game in the browser. Hold to fire a web, let go at the right moment to fling yourself across a city, then fight your friends in it. I built it in three days, during one of the busiest weeks of my year, and by the end I was swinging around online with my friends.

    • Three.js + TypeScript
    • Multiplayer over my own WebSocket server
    • A whole city generated in code
    • About 136 KB, with no downloaded assets
    See it on GitHub

Slopestix is the one I took from zero to one, pretty much by myself. Every design, every test, every order, the whole website. Now I'm working on one to n.

    Opflio Labs

Product design intern, AI workflows. I built three reusable workflows in Claude Code, then used them to make 7 app frontends, 3 websites, and 14 logos.

    Webkrux

AI datacenter rack co-designer and builder. Layout, cooling, cabling, and checking every part in the BIOS.

    On the workbench next

    Swinging in VR, and robots

swingfight's big brother: a Spider-Man web-swinging game in virtual reality. And I want to start exploring robotics.

    The student

Senior year at Skyline High School in Sammamish, doing the full IB Diploma. Math and physics are my favorites by a mile: they're where the things I build actually come from. The free kick on this site is a physics problem. The webshooter is a spring and some geometry.

When my friends have a question about school, they usually come to me. I'm a bit of an information source, and I like helping people figure things out.

Two of my biggest pieces of IB work have their own pages here: my Computer Science Extended Essay on cracking passwords, and my Math IA on the perfect free kick.

    The person

I'm just me. I like doing cool things. Here's what I'm into when I'm not building one.

    The name

    Oreo+Space+37

I love Oreos. I love space. 37 is my favorite number. Put them together and you get SpaceOreo37. In games I'm CaptainSpaceOreo.

    Skiing

    Skis only

I learned at Summit at Snoqualmie, my home mountain is Crystal, and I've taken ski trips through the Rockies in the US and Canada. Skis only, no snowboard.

    Soccer

    Hala Madrid

I've played since I was 5, always up front: forward or midfield. Real Madrid is my team, and Jude Bellingham is my favorite player.

    Spider-Man

    Always Spider-Man

It's why I built a webshooter, then a better webshooter, then a web-swinging game. A VR one is next.

    On repeat
    StargazingTravis Scott

Favorite song. Travis Scott and Don Toliver are always in rotation.

    The games shelf
    • Valorant
    • Horizon Forbidden West
    • Marvel's Spider-Man
    • Forza Horizon 6
    • Rocket League Sideswipe

Surprisingly good at Rocket League Sideswipe. I've been playing it at lunch since 8th grade.

    05

    Giving back

I like helping people figure things out, whether it's homework or how to stop on skis.

    Oct 2025 – now

    Academic tutor

At the King County Library System: homework help across subjects, explained whichever way makes it click for each student. I also teach the library's math club.

    Jan – Feb 2026

    Adaptive ski volunteer

With the Outdoors for All Foundation, helping instructors run adaptive skiing for people with disabilities, so everyone gets a safe, fun day on the mountain.

    Jan – Mar 2024

    Volunteer ski instructor

In the Alpental Leadership Program at Summit at Snoqualmie, the mountain I learned on. Teaching kids aged 3 and 4 the basics, mostly how to stop.

Do cool things, then tell people about it.

My dad once showed me a video where someone said exactly that, and it stuck. Every time I build something, that's the plan. This whole website is the "tell people about it" part.

If you've got something cool in mind, I'd love to hear about it.
